For 40 years, the ETL Education Foundation along with the Eta Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has held an annual HBCU College Tour Program. Traditionally, the program consists of a series of workshops and activities leading up to a week-long tour of 12-14 Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Throughout the years, the organizations' primary concern has been the conducting of safe and academically enriching College Tour activities.


October 21, 2023 through October 28, 2023

The mission of the College Tour is to expose primarily African-American and Latino high school students to the variety of higher education options offered by historically Black colleges and universities (HBCU) and through campus visitation provide opportunities for students to observe and participate in aspects of college life and interact with admissions personnel.

The cost of the 2023 College Tour is $1150, inclusive of most meals, lodging, and transportation. Schools on the 2023 itinerary include, Morgan State University, Howard University, Fisk University, Tennessee State University, Meharry Medical College, Morehouse College, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, North Carolina A&T University, North Carolina Central University, Johnson C. Smith University, Hampton University, Virginia State University, and Norfolk State University. The official College Tour Registration form is available  here. Following submission of the registration form, guardians will receive an invoice via email. At a minimum, a $125 non-refundable deposit is required upon receipt of the invoice.
